How do I get started on the Fasting Mimicking Diet?
You must first be cleared to go on the Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) by a supervising Health Care Professional. They will determine if you have any known medical conditions that require a medical clearance before participating in the FMD. Supervising Health Care Professionals include physicians, Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, Physician Assistants, and other health professionals.

Once I clear you to participate in the FMD I will give you an authorization code that you can use to order the FMD online with. The food for the 5-day fast comes in one box with food for each day of the fast clearly marked.
I will go over how to use the food and beverage products with you before you begin and answer any questions you have. We will also set goals together and record starting values to ensure you benefit from the 5-day fast.
I will be available during your 5-day fast for questions and concerns that come up and monitor you closely.
